Getting a Card: Non-Resident Student Under 18

NEW LIBRARY CARD

• Parent or legal guardian must bring a Valid Michigan Driver’s License or State of Michigan ID card showing their current
  residential address. PLUS…

• Student must show a current school report card, progress report, class schedule, or tuition receipt showing the student’s name, the school’s name and Southfield or Lathrup Village address.

RENEW LIBRARY CARD

• SCHOOL accounts expire annually on your
  birthday. 
• To renew, please bring:
  • Library Card + ID listed under New Library Card (above).

Southfield Library Cards issued for STUDENT accounts can only be used at the Southfield Public Library.
