The Friends of the Southfield Public Library are a dynamic and involved group of Library supporters who truly enhance the services the Library is able to provide. The Friends purchase items not provided for in the Library's budget, provide seed money for new services and collections, and actively promote the use of the Library to the community.

In addition, the Friends sponsor various Library programs and special events, such as the Creecy Series and our monthly used book sales.

As a member of the Friends, you become part of a group improving our Library services each and every day. You will receive invitations to special programs, a quarterly newsletter, a tax deduction for your contribution, and a chance to offer your expertise and talents to your Library.
