March – Buck and the Preacher, 1972. Rated PG.

An ex-Union Army Cavalry sergeant becomes a scout for freed slaves heading to the Colorado frontier. Tagging along with him are his wife and a Bible-thumping con artist. Attacked by racist bounty hunters, Buck and his followers must summon courage in order to help settle the wild west.

Urban drama about an idealistic teacher in a slum area who fights doggedly to connect with his unruly students. Based on Evan Hunter’s novel.

A teacher in England abandons the traditional curriculum of education in dealing with a class of students rejected by other schools.
