Fred Reif has been involved in the Detroit blues scene for over 45 years and he will tell stories about traveling, rediscovering blues musicians and Detroit based blues artists. The stories will be highlighted with music performed on washboard by Mr. Reif and blues and roots guitarist, Steve Nardella. Nardella is a “strong, American roots-music performer, equally adept at rockabilly and low-down blues,” stated Cub Koda.
There is a $5.00 general admission or a $3.00 admission for Friends of the Southfield Public Library members. No charge for children under 12.
